I'm liking your Tribal, only thing, the "text" is a little to dark/hard to read. Is there a way to bring the shades up to a "readable/no eye strain" level and still retain the "Black/Blue/Silver/Grey" scales?

I also see your using a zip file & .pbt, I only have access to a PC while at work, so I can't "unzip or read" these as "work" doesn't allow anything on our PC other than the "Security" essentials. Cams, alarm systems, and such. And if I have to upload/make/transcribe it to the forum myself, a good set of instructions will be needed. I'm no good at CSS/Coding stuff...

I'd really be interested in Tribal with some add ons/changing slightly...

Oh yay! Not very many people ever really liked Tribal. I almost retired it a few times, but decided to keep it in the end. I am more than happy to accommodate you on the theme and changing the colors to be a little more "eye-friendly" will definitely not be an issue.

The reason for the .zip file is because I have not updated Tribal yet. I used to store all of my graphics on Photobucket, but when it went tits up I found that I could upload the images directly to each theme. I'm in the process of doing that for all of my themes, but as you can see....I have lots to go through, lol. I usually do it alphabetically (I'm currently in the "I" section, lol), but I will put Tribal on the next up list and get it updated so that all you'll need to do is install the .pbt file.

Let me work on doing that and then I'll get all of your modifications (colors, logo changes, etc.) done for you. Thanks for your interest in Tribal, I appreciate it!

I load from Theme's Directory.

Spare pics, I save to local computer, load to imgur or directly back to "said" theme.

Take your time, I'm in no hurry.

I know, I know, no double posting...BUT:

While browsing Tribal, I noticed that the "Search" icon doesn't have a "mouseover" stating that it's the "Search" button. Just a heads up. I'll report anymore stuff I find as I browse theme...

No worries on the double posting, truly. We're not that strict on it here. I prefer my forum to be more user friendly and less......well....unfriendly, hahaha!

On the search icon, do you mean the menu button at the top or the icon in the action bar (where the "reply" button and "create thread" buttons are? There are no mouseover options in any of my themes at the moment, because I have not figured out how to get the mouseover icons to work. I used to use a plugin, but it no longer works because of issues with file storage (I used to use Photobucket, but now I upload directly to PB and it changes the file names to something random).

Okay, I have finished all of the updates for everything. You'll need to download the new .pbt file (or wait for it to be approved over at the Proboards Library, I've submitted it, but it will take a few days to be added) which you can download it from here or over at Proboards Support. Once you have the new .pbt file, install it (be sure to remove any other versions of it you may have already installed) and here is the settings for the plugins:


Border Around Forum plugin:

-Put 928 under New Forum Width
-Add the URLs to the BoardHeader, BoardBackground, and BoardBase images under Top Image, Middle Image, Bottom Image.
-Make sure to move the banner below the Ads (or if you already have a template change to do this, mark it No).
-Click Save Changes.


Head Base Side Images plugin:

-Make sure to choose the theme "Tribal"
-Put the URL to the header image.
-Head Image Width should be 928.
-Head Image Height should be 62.
-Put the URL to the base image.
-Leave Left Side Image, Right Side Image, and Side Image Width blank.
-Splitter Height should be 25.
-Title Vertical Position should be 40.
-Title Text Color should be 666666.
-Title Horizontal Position should be set for Center.
-Choose whether or not you want to have the header/base images on your shoutbox in the next tab.
-Click Save Changes.


If you have any trouble with it, please let me know and I'll be happy to help you out.

All right then.... Works well, now all I need is a Banner and "Default/Forced" avatar made up....

Oops, found something. In the "post" mini profiles, SOCIAL links are not showing up. What "code" is missing for those, and where would I put/look for it.

Also, anyway to get "Member Is Online"....The "Online" part as Lime Green when showing??

Oh, I found this after the other thread, hahaha! I will work on getting the banner and default avatar. I have no clue on how to make the Online part lime green, you'd need to maybe ask for some assistance with that over at Proboards Support....probably in the Template board.

For the social links....is this something you've got set up using plugins? If so, you'll need to add the theme Tribal to those plugins for them to work on that theme. If it's not plugin related, I'll have to jump over to your forum and take a look and see what I can find.

I'm happy to help when I can. Mom's doing a little bit better today, so I have a little more free time than the past few days.

On the avatar, the PlayStation logo is copyrighted, so I will not be able to make changes to it like what you're wanting. I can add the word Gamers to the logo somewhere if you'd like, but I just wouldn't be able to make any serious changes to the logo that would incorporate the G in it. Would you like something else?

Social is in ACP Forum Settings on it's own Tab, and again under Profile setting. They are supposed to show up after being filled in....

But they are not....
